"Hubris" is a sculpture that serves as a modern interpretation of an ancient concept, visualizing the perilous nature of excessive pride and the illusion of godlike superiority. The sculpture twists upwards, its forms swelling with a self-assured poise that borders on the grandiose, much like the overconfidence that precedes a fall from grace in classical tragedies.

The glossy surface may initially attract the eye, luring one in with the allure of something seemingly perfect and invulnerable. Yet upon closer inspection, the allure gives way to a darker undercurrent, reflecting the inherent danger in self-aggrandizement and the peril of overestimating one’s place in the order of the universe.
